Strukturintegritäts-Anwendungen I (BMEGEMTBVS1N)

Description:
The main goal of the course is to follow and deepen the disciplines „Werkstoffkunde und Werkstoffprüfung” and „Metalltechnologie” or „Strength of Materials”(Festigkeitslehre) and „Materialkunde” in German language with case studies and application examples from the practice of a mechanical engineer. The lecturer uses these examples based on his own professional experience over 40 years in Western Europe, in the machine industry (Sulzer Ltd., Winterthur (CH)) and at the ETH Zürich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). The improvement of the German language knowledge of the students inscribed to the course is obviously also an important goal.
